Moondance Presents

Songland Music School, in partnership with Moondance Presents, is proud to connect our community of songwriters to Austin’s vibrant creative network. We offer monthly meet‑ups designed for both youth and adults—whether you're actively writing or just beginning and eager to grow your craft.

 

Adults (18+)

• Monthly meet‑ups at no cost, hosted in South Austin and Cedar Park, thanks to gracious residential hosts

• Believing in songwriting as self‑care, these gatherings offer a supportive space to share, experiment, and collaborate

• Bring a song, lyric, chord idea—or just your curiosity

Youth (Ages 10–17)

• Hosted at Black Box Music Academy

• 2‑hour guided group songwriting experience

• Cost: $30

• Participants will:

  • Learn basic songwriting craft (structure, melody, lyrics, etc.)

  • Write individually or in small groups

  • Share work in a friendly, low-pressure environment
