A Bit About Nathaniel
Nathaniel Ballinger is a dedicated piano teacher with over 3 years experience teaching and over 8 years of experience performing. He has taught adults and children, beginner and intermediate students, and uses a wide range of approaches to meet each student where they are. His curriculum includes a mix of technical exercises, music theory, ear training, sight reading, improvisation, repertoire, and band performance, all tailored to each student to meet their goals and ensure their success. He is well-versed in a variety of styles including jazz, pop, rock, r&b, blues, funk, reggae, and others.
Nathaniel cares deeply about fostering a personal relationship with each student he teaches. He maintains an open-door policy for any questions outside of scheduled lesson hours, and prides himself on his ability to foster and grow his students' love for music. His goal is for each student to feel empowered to pursue the music that they love, and mentor them on their journey of musical self-discovery.
